I've been sewing since I was 14 a skill which has been past down in my family since anyone can remember. My great grandmother was taught by her mother who taught her daughter, who taught my mother. My mother has been sewing for over 40 years and she taught me.  I am a certified costume designer from ASU.  I specialize in recreating costumes from television and wedding dresses. 

 

 

I have a passion for costumes, ever since I was little I always thought of playing dress up as the perfect game ever.  When I put on a costume, I feel amazing, they change me to whoever I want to be at that moment. I strive to help other people achieve that feeling, that sense of freedom and that is why I sew. That is why I create. I think that everyone should have the chance to escape themselves and become someone new even for just a little while.
